Job description

McCleskey Construction Company is currently seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to join its in house architectural team in a capacity to create construction documents for permitting and field construction use.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Independently develop construction documents from the design development phase.
  • Prepare and review construction documents for compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Assist with the process of acquiring building permits from the authority having jurisdiction.
  • Coordination of construction documents with engineers and consultants.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Capable with Revit, Photoshop, and basic render engine software(s)
  • Capable of working and communicating in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficient with office software
  • Organize construction document production for multiple deadline sensitive projects.
  • Knowledge of contemporary commercial construction materials and methods.
  • Minimum of an associate degree in drafting, engineering graphics, or related field
