Our client is powering the future of clean energy - and we're looking for a Jr. Financial Analyst who's equal parts storyteller, strategist, and data detective. This role can be based in Oak Ridge TN, Piketon OH, or Bethesda OH, with a monthly trip to Piketon to stay close to the action. You'll help connect the dots between operations, capital investments, and long-term growth - ensuring every dollar, especially capital activity, is captured, analyzed, and put to work driving smarter decisions. If you thrive on turning complex financial data into clear, compelling insights that influence big moves, this is your stage.
What You Will Do:
You'll bring clarity to complexity by building dynamic financial models, forecasting growth opportunities, and ensuring capital activity is accurately tracked and reflected across projects and initiatives. From evaluating investment returns and supporting capital planning to automating data flows and designing dashboards that make insights easy to act on, you'll be a trusted partner to leaders across the business. You'll collaborate cross-functionally, translate financial performance into strategic recommendations, and help guide decisions that shape the future - all while staying connected to on-the-ground operations through regular engagement.
We'd Love to Hear from People With:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, or business development
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) for data automation and forecasting
  • Expertise in Power BI (dashboards, DAX, Power Query, visualization best practices)
  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and integration
  • Proven track record building ROI, NPV, IRR, and DCF models
  • Experience tracking, analyzing, and reconciling capital activity across projects and financial systems
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex models into actionable insights
  • Ability to obtain (or already possess) a "Q" clearance
