Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager-Property Mgmnt for a direct hire opportunity in San Jose, CA. This role is ideal for a commercial property operations professional who enjoys leading building operations, improving asset performance, managing vendors, and partnering with cross-functional real estate teams.
The Operations Manager-Property Mgmnt will support the operational performance of commercial real estate assets, including building systems, service delivery, capital projects, operating expenses, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, leadership visibility, and the ability to directly influence tenant satisfaction and long-term property value.
This position offers a collaborative environment with engaged stakeholders across Property Management, Asset Management, Leasing, Accounting, and Ownership. Candidates can expect supportive leadership, positive teamwork, stable operations, and a role where strong execution and proactive problem-solving are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations for commercial properties, including building systems, maintenance programs, service delivery, and operational standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, inspections, and performance expectations to ensure quality, cost control, and timely completion of work.
- Support operating budgets, expense tracking, capital planning, and operational reporting in partnership with property management and accounting teams.
- Lead or coordinate capital improvement projects, tenant improvement support, repairs, preventative maintenance, and building upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and established property policies.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve tenant satisfaction, asset performance, operational efficiency, and long-term property value.
