Job description

If you're an experienced General Manager and/or Senior Operations Leader who thrives on leading people, improving operations, and delivering financial results, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

We're looking for an exceptional operational leader to take full ownership of two of our branches in the Orlando metro area. We're looking for someone who knows how to build high-performing teams, operate a profitable service business, create an outstanding customer experience, and lead through growth. If you've successfully led operations in a service-based organization, we would look forward to reviewing your information. This role does not require prior landscaping experience.

We are Sunrise Landscape, an established commercial landscape organization for more than 40 years across the state of Florida. We are excited by our vision to deliver excellent customer service in the areas of landscape design, installation and maintenance to our clients with the help of our 1,000+ employees. We are proud to have achieved the Lawn & Landscape Top 100 honor and are continuing to build a great place to work with a commitment to landscape and service excellence.

What You'll Own:

As General Manager, you'll operate your branches like it's your own business. The two branches have approximately 80 team members supporting clients in our landscape maintenance division (recurring service for commercial clients). The two branches are located in Casselberry, FL and Winter Garden, FL.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Business Performance

  • Own the complete financial performance of the branch, including full P&L accountability.
  • Develop and execute operating plans that drive profitable growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins, productivity, efficiency, and customer retention.
  • Use operational and financial data to make informed business decisions.

Operations Leadership

  • Lead all daily branch operations, ensuring exceptional execution across every client account.
  • Build scalable operational processes that improve quality, productivity, and profitability.
  • Allocate labor, equipment, and resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve how the business operates.

Customer Experience

  • Build lasting relationships with commercial clients by delivering exceptional service.
  • Partner with Client Relationship Managers and Sales leaders to retain and grow existing business.
  • Personally engage with key customers and resolve complex issues when needed.
  • Create a culture where outstanding client service is everyone's responsibility.

Leadership & Team Development

People are our competitive advantage.

You'll develop, coach, and inspire team members to build engaged, accountable, high-performing teams.

You'll:

  • Develop Operations Managers and Client Relationship Managers.
  • Build leadership capability throughout the organization.
  • Create a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Recognize and develop future leaders for advancement.

Safety & Operational Excellence

  • Champion a culture where safety comes first.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive operational consistency while continuously improving processes across the branch.

What Makes You Successful/Qualifications:

You know how to lead a business-not just manage daily operations. You enjoy solving problems, making decisions, coaching leaders, improving processes, and delivering measurable business results.

You likely bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing a full P&L.
  • Experience leading multiple departments or functional teams.
  • Strong financial and analytical business acumen.
  • Experience leading large frontline workforces.
  • Exceptional coaching and leadership skills.
  • A customer-first mindset.
  • The ability to drive accountability while creating an engaging culture.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

What We Can Offer You:

At Sunrise Landscape (www.sunriselandscape.com), joining our team means more than accepting a job-it means building a long-term career with a company that values professionalism, reliability, and personal growth.
