Choice New York Staffing provides vital services to the buildings we manage including concierge, doorman, superintendent, porter, and janitorial services. Choice New York Listings provides brokerage sales and leasing to the building owners we represent. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Super. This position requires 40 hours per week and is based in Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities
  • Perform duties related to the role of Super with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with building residents.
  • A high standard of work quality and attention to detail is expected.
  • Supervising building maintenance staff who maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the building.
  • Handle tasks requiring the skill set of Super / Handyman effectively and timely.
  • Knowledge of NYC waste disposal regulations required.
  • Drywall and painting experience
  • Light electrical experience preferred
  • As the key employee of the building operations interior and exterior, the Superintendent is essential to the longevity of all equipment and the aesthetic nature of the property.
  • The ideal candidate will have handyman skills.
  • Ensuring the building is clean and presentable.
  • The position is fundamental to all mechanical functions of the community and includes working closely with the Property Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills, customer service skills, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities are required.
