Job description

Qualified Candidates will possesses a multitude of skill sets including light electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry. HVAC highly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
Record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Use of appropriate tooling to troubleshoot simple AC/DC electrical circuits.
Basic knowledge and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
Troubleshooting and repairs to miscellaneous operational equipment as needed.
Perform the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of the buildings.
Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, furniture and controllers.
Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers, other fire life safety systems and other building systems.
Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps.
Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks to maintain buildings.
General interior maintenance hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems.
Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested.
Work with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain a positive working relationships across all of the Operations facilities.
Any and all other duties assigned by leadership.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of maintenance experience
Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry.
Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems.
Friendly personality and committed to great customer service.
A strong work ethic and highly dependable
Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools.
Basic understanding of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
May be required to work exposed to heat, sunlight, rain, cold, daylight and night-time hours.
