Description

National Indoor RV Centers is seeking a dependable, versatile individual to join the team as a Building Maintenance (Handyperson)! This role requires someone who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained while also handling basic repair and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is a “jack-of-all-trades” who can seamlessly move from cleaning and sanitation duties to minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
 
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Custodial Duties:
 
Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as required.
Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal.
Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies.
Perform deep-cleaning projects as scheduled.
 
Facilities & Maintenance Duties:
 
Manage the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the facility.
Conduct routine inspections of building systems and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
Coordinate with vendors or contractors when larger repairs are needed.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, invoices, and maintenance logs.
 
Qualifications:
 
Previous experience in custodial, maintenance, or handyman roles preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair.
Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely.
Experience operating a forklift.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
 
Work Environment:
 
Indoor and outdoor work required.
May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and various environmental conditions.
Occasional evening, weekend, or on-call work may be required for special projects or emergencies.
