Job description

Adecco is assisting the Adair County Youth Detention Center to immediately fill a Maintenance Supervisor position.

Pay Rate: $28.68 an hr.

Hours: 1st shift, overtime as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Review work priorities daily and ensure they are serviced each day.

· Inspect the building and grounds and perform routine maintenance.

· Ensure the facility is in safe condition for guests and employees.

· Inspect vacated areas for signs of tampering or disrepair and carry out necessary repairs immediately.

· Oversee the operation of equipment used in performing maintenance repairs.

· Maintain a periodic log of general and preventative maintenance duties performed.

· Tend to flowers, trees, landscaping, trash pickup, mowing, leaf blowing, weed eating and pest removal.

· Power washing

· Request order for necessary parts and supplies, maintain inventory

· Small repairs such as water leaks, drywall, painting, HVAC maintenance

· Trash removal

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2-years of prior maintenance & management experience required


Education, training and/or experience which would clearly demonstrate the essential functions, knowledge and skills listed.

Ability up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand during entire shift.

Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
