SUMMARY: Performs various facilities and building maintenance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs minor repairs to building and equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance on building and associated equipment on a scheduled basis
• Performs "basic" electrical and plumbing repairs
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
• Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures
• Performs outside custodial duties as required
• May obtain estimates for supplier or repair costs
• Performs basic woodworking to construct crates, shelves, or containers
• Performs maintenance and repair to lawn sprinkler system
• Performs general painting
• Performs company related errands to gather supplies as required
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to use hand tools and basic power tools.
• Must have valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field of vision. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
