Job Title: Plumber's ApprenticeJob Description

As a Plumber's Apprentice, you will be responsible for a variety of plumbing installations and repairs in both residential and light commercial settings. Your work will involve installing and replacing water heaters, pipes, fixtures, faucets, water softeners, and sump pumps. You will diagnose leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions, providing effective repairs and solutions. Additionally, you will perform drain cleaning and sewer services, ensuring proper drainage and compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Install and replace water heaters, pipes, fixtures, faucets, water softeners, and sump pumps.
  • Diagnose leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions, providing effective repairs and solutions.
  • Perform drain cleaning and sewer services, ensuring proper drainage.
  • Educate customers on plumbing maintenance, water conservation, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent plumbing emergencies.
  • Respond quickly to urgent plumbing issues such as burst pipes, water heater failures, and major leaks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, parts used, and system conditions.
  • Stay updated with the latest plumbing technologies, including tankless water heaters, water filtration systems, and eco-friendly solutions.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential/light commercial plumbing services.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping, and components.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagnose issues, and perform quality repairs.
  • Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $93600.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficient and safe operation, including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing parts as necessary. Diagnose and repair problems with HVAC units by understanding system blueprints, using diagnostic tools, and completing timely repairs. Test and analyze HVAC systems after installations or repairs to ensure proper operation, making necessary adjustments. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering guidance on system maintenance, energy efficiency, and potential upgrades. Adhere to all federal, state, and local safety regulations and building codes during installations and repairs. Clean HVAC system components such as filters, ducts, and vents to maintain air quality and system efficiency. Offer timely emergency services during system breakdowns in extreme weather conditions. Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance routines, repairs, and other work performed on each system. Stay updated with the latest HVAC technology and techniques, including eco-friendly options and smart home integrations, through continuing education and certification programs. Work Environment Work independently with the possibility of having an apprentice or laborer to assist with services and installs. This role involves using various tools and technologies to perform HVAC services.
