Job Description

RRD's Bay Area locations are looking for a dynamic Building & Grounds candidate to join the team! This position is responsible for performing maintenance of buildings, buildings mechanical systems and related equipment at the De Pere and Green Bay facilities. This includes the interior and exterior of the buildings. The purpose of this position is to support both plant operations with maintenance activities to ensure an efficient operation.

This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., and the possibility of every other Saturday.

  • Maintain plant mechanical systems (boilers, air compressors, HVAC units) at a high level of readiness and efficiency. These systems will be kept in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
  • Maintain filters and dust collection devices in the plant air handling units. This includes the vacuuming and changing of filters periodically.
  • Maintain plant entrances.
  • Assist with carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical projects throughout the plants.
  • Monitor the plant trim and dust collection system including dust collectors, bag houses, trim blowers and return air fans. Also assist in the maintenance of these areas.
  • Perform building maintenance projects such as arranging conference rooms, performing modifications to employees work areas as necessary or assigned.
  • Assist with buildings inspections as assigned.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Understand and follow directions.
  • Maintain appropriate records, time reports and work orders for work performed.
  • Follow all plant policies and procedures.
  • Get trained and be able to operate scissor lift and forklift to perform necessary job duties.
  • Offer any suggestions and recommendations that will improve operations, the product, training, etc.
Qualifications
  • The ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Be able to use powered hand tools in the operation of maintenance duties.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • A general knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is preferred.
  • Ability to assist outside vendors when required in the repair and installation of equipment.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work as a team member in a positive and constructive manner.

Disclosure Statement:

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $19.50 to $31.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
