Our solutions help build healthier, more durable, and sustainable structures for a better future. We are looking to expand our presence in both the US and Canadian markets and are looking for independent manufacturer representatives in most relevant MSAs and provinces.
Job Summary
As an independent manufacturer representative, you will represent the product lines of a specialized wall and roof panel manufacturer. This role is commission-based and requires strong relationships with architects, contractors, commercial developers and owners within your territory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Independently represent and promote the manufacturer's products within an assigned territory, communicating product features, specifications, and applicable standards accurately
  • Develop and manage professional relationships with architects, contractors, developers, property owners, and other key decision-makers
  • Identify, pursue, and support project opportunities to meet mutually agreed-upon annual sales and specification objectives
  • Prospect for and secure new accounts to expand market presence and grow revenue opportunities
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities at your discretion to support business development efforts
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using the manufacturer's CRM or reporting tools
  • Provide periodic updates on sales activity, pipeline status, and market feedback to support collaboration and forecasting

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in business development or as sales agent within the construction or building materials industry with existing relationships with architects, contractors, developers and owners.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials procurement, and sustainable building practices.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building technologies, LEED, or similar frameworks.
  • Proven ability to drive specifications and revenue growth and close large-scale deals.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Flexible, independent work structure.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building technologies.
