We are looking for experienced Site Foreman/Site Foreperson to join our workforce housing projects team in Calgary. 

This is a full-time temporary assignment for 11-12 months. 
 

Job Responsibilities: 
    Supervise different trades in the field and be able to manage the site on their own when required under the supervision of the Construction Manager.
    Ensure trades are installed as per drawing and industry best practice. 
    Monitor and manage HSE requirements onsite.
    Place material orders and pick them up when needed.
    Complete modular units' inspections as they come off the manufacturing line.
    Assist with daily reporting as needed.
    Complete site walks daily throughout the building complex to evaluate contractors' work.
    Participate in daily toolbox and weekly safety meetings.
 

Required Skills/Experience: 
    1+ years foreman/foreperson experience.
    5+ years in the construction industry (commercial/industrial setting) with Interior finishing residential experience and some modular construction/installation preferred.

    Journeyman or Apprentice Carpenter preferred.
    Strong Knowledge of construction safety practices with hands-on experience enforcing safety protocols, conducting site inspections, leading safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with all OH&S regulations. 
    Proficient in blueprint reading, effective communicator both verbal and written.
    Good understanding of various trades such as. concrete foundation, plumbing, electrical, roofing, building envelope, finish carpentry etc, safety certifications preferred.
