Senior Glazing Superintendent

📍 MD, VA & DC Region
🟢 Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial construction projects with a focus on glazing, building envelope, and exterior systems. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing site teams, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, safety, quality control, and project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily field operations and supervise superintendents, field personnel, and subcontractors
  • Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients
  • Conduct site meetings and maintain project documentation, daily reports, and progress tracking
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Identify and resolve field issues, constructability concerns, and project risks
  • Oversee punch lists, project closeout activities, and client relationships
  • Mentor and develop field staff while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction field leadership experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent
  • Experience with glazing, building envelope, exterior façade, or commercial construction projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety, and subcontractor management
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License required
