Job description

Under the direction of the Supervisor Power Plant, this position performs Building Engineer and Power Plant activities associated with repair, maintenance, and associated documentation to maintain a safe and attractive hospital environment.
Hourly Pay Rate: $25.96 - $38.29
Qualifications
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Specialized Training:
  • Must have a certification for refrigerant recovery (EPA Universal Certification)

Certification/Licensure:
  • Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
  • Must have a creativity, initiative and independent thinking, and problem-solving skills are strongly preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of fire protection codes, plumbing and other building systems codes, OSHA requirements, and knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.
  • Must have working knowledge preventative maintenance and work order software systems
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Must have willingness and aptitudes to work effectively with others within the formal or informal structure of teams or groups
  • Must have inner motivation and confidence to achieve successful results.
