Location: Dallas, TX, 75248

Do you take pleasure in ensuring a property is run correctly? Bent Tree Country Club is seeking a track-proven individual who takes pride in their day-to-day work as a Building Engineer.
The Building Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the building. This includes but is not limited to kitchen equipment, HVAC, boilers, and BMS operation. The Building Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring that all systems are operating efficiently and safely and will be required to troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have experience in all of the above areas, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, & electrical to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the main clubhouse and the Tennis building
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment inventory.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on equipment and machinery, including commercial kitchen appliances.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Building Engineer to ensure equipment readiness for daily operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe and working condition
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Communicate with management regarding equipment needs and repairs

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Kitchen equipment repair
  • Technical training in HVAC/R, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Boiler experience
  • BMS Operator
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Professionalism and strong customer service skills
  • Pool Maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven experience as an engineer, preferably in the hospitality industry
