  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • In-person, on-site work at client properties

Job Summary:
The Building Engineer is responsible for performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.
This role ensures building systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Conduct regular facility walkthroughs and inspections to identify deficiencies or repair needs.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Respond to service requests and on-demand maintenance needs in a timely manner.
  • Document work performed and track maintenance activities using the maintenance management system.
  • Ensure all work complies with environmental, health, safety, fire protection, and building code requirements.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs and assist with facility-related projects.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from ladders up to 30 feet.
  • Proficiency using basic computer systems, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
