Job Title:         Facilities & Maintenance Engineer
Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location:         Waterloo, IA 50704
Duration:         24 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift:                1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Job Summary

Support facility infrastructure, maintenance, and manufacturing projects. Responsible for project management, equipment troubleshooting, contractor coordination, safety compliance, and facility improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage facility and maintenance-related projects
• Coordinate contractors, skilled trades, and vendors
• Support manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure
• Troubleshoot production and maintenance issues
• Review hot work permits and safety requirements
• Support Emergency Notification Systems (ENS) projects
• Coordinate building, electrical, mechanical, and structural projects
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation
• Ensure OSHA, safety, and building code compliance
• Support continuous improvement and facility upgrades
