Interior Designer / Architect (Residential)

Location: Key Biscayne, FL (In-Person)
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are a high-end boutique architecture and interior design studio with over 13 years of experience specializing in luxury residential projects. Our work has received multiple industry awards and has been featured in leading design publications and books, including Architectural Digest. We are known for our refined aesthetic, attention to detail, and highly personalized approach to residential design.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Architect (Residential) to join our team in Key Biscayne. This is a hands-on role for a design professional who can confidently manage high-end residential projects from concept through completion while working closely with clients, vendors, and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned residential projects from concept through completion

  • Design and develop architectural and interior design concepts for single-family homes, remodels, and luxury residences

  • Create shop drawings and detailed design documentation

  • Produce renderings and visual materials for design presentations

  • Prepare and present client presentations, including design concepts and material selections

  • Make project-related purchases and manage specifications and selections

  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors, consultants, and contractors

  • Communicate directly with clients throughout all phases of the project

  • Conduct project site visits to ensure design intent and quality are maintained

  • Assist with permitting and coordinate with local authorities as required

  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and design quality

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (required)

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in residential architecture and/or interior design

  • Proven experience with luxury residential projects

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp

  • Strong skills in space planning, design development, and documentation

  • Experience creating renderings and high-quality client presentations

  • Knowledge of permitting processes and residential building codes

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work in-person in Key Biscayne
