Follow general guidance regarding construction task orders and exercise initiative and independent judgment in resolving construction-related issues.
Monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, and installation practices throughout all phases of vertical construction.
Verify contractor work complies with contract documents, building codes, approved plans, quality standards, manufacturer requirements, and project specifications.
Conduct inspections of structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building envelope systems.
Prepare reports and maintain daily inspection logs; document findings and communicate discrepancies to project stakeholders.
Verify construction progress and support review of contractor pay applications and project estimates.

Document and track field changes, requests for information (RFIs), and modifications to construction documents.
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, engineering calculations, schedules, and shop drawings.
Attend construction meetings with project managers, project teams, clients, contractors, and airport stakeholders.
Coordinate with contractors, testing agencies, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities to ensure quality control and compliance requirements are achieved.
