Role and Responsibilities

The Manager, Digital Marketing, .COM will be a digital subject matter expert with a 5+ years of experience building relationships with cross-functional teams to influence, drive sales and build breakthrough digital experiences. Must have experience with website builds, backend platform management, UX and on-site functionality as it pertains to driving the consumer experience journey. Needs to have experience managing agency creative briefings and workflow, understanding of asset management, types and formats. Will be able to identify efficiency improvements and optimizations across digital channels that are core to business strategies. Will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to rapidly ramp up and lead the team on .com executions. Vision to identify key digital experience opportunities throughout the consumer engagement journey to grow Samsung's awareness and market share. Ability to manage internal stakeholders, and agility to influence and collaborate across other vertical teams in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Key DA samsung.com point of contact for Brand Experience, PM, e-Commerce and Corporate Marketing teams to ensure online messaging consistency.
  • Socialize and collaborate with Channel marketing teams for cross-channel asset usage and sharing of best practices.
  • Align creative messaging for S.com with BX master toolkits to create fit-for-purpose, consumer-centric copy & content to impact the HA business in owned channels, drive traffic and yield conversions, being mindful of consumer journey phase and intent.
  • Work closely with ecommerce teams to continually improve S.com for a best-in-class consumer experience with streamlined, consistent pages, advanced UX and value-add content
  • Ideate creative concepts and tactics to break through competitive noise and create compelling experiences and offers for the consumer
  • Primary point of contact for creative agencies to ensure asset consistency throughout CEJ for owned
  • Implement and drive process for all growing digital needs, find efficiencies and offer forward-thinking solutions
  • Ensure marketing content on DA website pages are optimized and prioritized correctly
  • Coordinate with Media, CRM and social managers to ensure optimized and personalized landing page experiences
  • Lead creative for all promotions across samsung.com driving the GTM process for cross-channel digital execution.

Detailed Functions:

  • S.com channel manager across all DA categories, responsible for updates to marketing pages across the site.
  • Manage homepage programming with SEA and Global stakeholders
  • Understand key product RTBs and nuances between models in order to effectively communicate benefits to shoppers
  • Responsible for DA marketing website planning, UX, creative and QA for product and promotional launches
  • Partner with ecommerce and CX teams for execution of best in class CEJ, accurate promotional messaging and product prioritization.
  • Brief and manage agency inputs and outputs for S.com creative
  • Participate in weekly agency and internal status meetings to ensure progress for all projects.
  • Partner with Digital team members to understand workstreams for CRM, social and paid media to ensure cohesive messaging and landing experience
  • Lead all promotional events and associated merchandising across s.com and consolidate cross channel GTM presentations.
  • Collaborate with IMC and PM teams for any category-specific site update needs
  • Strategy and business acumen

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building relationships with cross-functional teams to influence, drive sales and build breakthrough digital experiences.
  • Experience with website builds, backend platform management, UX and on-site functionality as it pertains to driving the consumer experience journey.
  • Experience managing agency creative briefings and workflow
  • Experience with asset management, types and formats.
