Job description

Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $19-$21 an hour | Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Auto Body Buffer/Polisher to join our busy collision repair facility. If you take pride in producing high-quality finishes and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Buff and polish freshly painted vehicles and panels to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Color sand painted surfaces to remove imperfections.
  • Remove dust nibs, orange peel, runs, and other paint defects.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure they meet quality standards after delivery.
  • Perform final quality control checks on paint appearance and finish.
  • Assist with minor trim and molding reassembly after polishing.
  • Perform final vehicle cleaning and detailing after customer delivery.
  • Maintain buffing and polishing equipment in good working condition.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work closely with painters and body technicians to ensure timely vehicle completion.
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards.

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience as an automotive buffer/polisher preferred.
  • Knowledge of color sanding and paint correction techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
