Job description

Budget is seeking a Car Rental Agent to join our team in Wichita, KS. This client-facing role focuses on delivering excellent service while handling reservations, driving sales, providing top-notch customer support, managing inventory, making follow-up calls, performing inspections, and detailing vehicles.

Open availability for weekdays and weekends required


Job Duties


Full-time and part-time positions available

Greet customers using standard dialogue

Handle customer inquiries, including explanations of charges, vehicle damages, directions, and more

Process vehicle exchanges and extensions

Inspect incoming vehicles for any new damage

Report damages to the on-duty supervisor

Scan returning vehicles back into the system

Provide customers with computerized receipts

Stay current on and follow all company policies, procedures, training updates, pricing, and promotions

Foster a team environment by assisting other agents or supporting different areas as needed


Requirements


High School Diploma or equivalent

1 year of customer service experience

Professional communication skills

Problem-resolution experience

Minimum age of 18

Valid driver's license

Clean driving record
