Stones River Electric is seeking a Commercial Lighting Bucket Electrician to support our growing national operations, offering competitive hourly rates based on experience.


This role requires a skilled electrician with experience in commercial lighting and bucket truck operations who can troubleshoot, work independently, and perform service, repair, and maintenance across commercial environments including retail, office, industrial, and hospitality facilities. Responsibilities include diagnosing lighting and electrical issues, performing repairs and retrofits, operating and maintaining a bucket truck, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.


The ideal candidate is dependable, self-sufficient in the field, and able to take ownership of their work with minimal supervision. This position requires travel based on project needs, including out-of-town and overnight stays.

Requirements

Requirements:

5+ years of commercial electrical experience

Experience operating and maintaining a bucket truck

Experience with equipment hauling preferred

Experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs

Willingness and ability to travel as needed, including overnight stays

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field

Comfortable using basic technology (iPad, etc.)

Good communication skills

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR

Basic hand tools including meter, pliers, wire strippers, and tape measure
