• Number of Beds :

• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :
• Type of equipment: Servo U & Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, & heliox therapy.
• Documentation system: Epic
• Scheduling requirements: 7PM - 12 hr shift
• Floating policy:
• Patient Experience requirements: 1+ years Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience
Hospital Specifics-
• Certifications: PALS
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: 1+ year Neonatal or PICU Critical Care experience
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit: Must be able to independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo -U ventilator. Also, setup and manage heliox therapy though invasive and non-invasive measures. Familiar with non-invasive ventilation including use of biPAP and CPAP. Neonatal skills to include Bubble CPAP, and, use of nitric oxide, and high frequency ventilation.
