Position: Travel: Echocardiology Technician / Radiology

Position Information:

Shift: 4/10's 0600 - 1630

Duration: 13 Weeks

On Call:  Short call and long call divided up between staff to cover nights/weekends

The Echo traveler needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures:

1.  Adult 2D echo 

a. with use of contrast agent

b. bubble study

c. Post cardiac cath

d. Post surgical echo

e. assessment of pericardial effusion

f.  pericardiocentesis imaging

g. calculating LV and RV strain

h. diastology with TDI

i. PISA calculations

j. Biplane measurements for  EF

2. Treadmill stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging

3. Dobutamine stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging

4. Transesophageal Echo (TEE), set up , image acquisition, physician assistance
