BTP Developers are professionals who specialize in developing applications and solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). They leverage BTP’s services, such as database management, analytics, application development, and integration tools, to build scalable and secure business solutions. BTP Developers often work with technologies like SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA, and various programming languages to meet business needs. Their role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications that integrate seamlessly with SAP and non-SAP systems.

These integrations typically require a deep understanding of both the BTP environment and the various APIs or connectors for existing on-premise or cloud solutions. Managing authentication, ensuring data consistency, and orchestrating complex workflows across different platforms can also be demanding. Collaborating closely with infrastructure teams and business stakeholders is essential to address these challenges effectively and ensure smooth deployment.
