Job description

Job Title

Responsible for the review of new and existing IRA information and deposit accounts. Performs legal research and reviews REG CC holds. Processes and reviews other related areas of Account Servicing.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Successfully input IRA information and accurately maintain IRA files
  • Monitor and submit monthly interest payments for all Interest On Lawyer Trust Accounts (IOLTA)
  • Review new account documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Process account maintenance as instructed by branches
  • Process legal and bank research requests
  • Review Reg CC holds as received from branches. Check for accuracy and completeness and timeliness of returned and corrected documents if needed. Ensure appropriate fund availability is handled by the branches within the necessary timeframes
  • Ensure branches follow appropriate hold timeframes and follow through with the appropriate and timely notifications to the customer
  • Process and/or verify incoming and outgoing wires via the Fedline Advantage Fedwire system, balance daily incoming and outgoing wire totals to GLs and to Federal Reserve balance, verify signatures and dollar limits of those requesting wires and credit incoming wire funds to customer accounts
  • Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations
  • Provide assistance to the BSA Officer with monitoring Alerts produced within the AML system to insure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and governmental regulations dealing with anti-terrorism, money laundering, and Bank security
  • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
  • Complete all other duties as assigned

Education And/Or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service and phone skills experience
  • Work experience with FISERV Premier, new account set up and documentation, Deposit Account maintenance, IRA, and IOLTA
