The actual location of this job is in Bend, Oregon. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and compliance of laboratory instrumentation that supports critical quality control processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-saving therapies while developing your technical expertise.
This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Lonza Pharma & Biotech has an opening for an Instrumentation Specialist at our Bend, OR site. In this role, you will support Quality Control operations by maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting analytical laboratory instruments.

What you will do
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instruments.
  • Develop and maintain validation procedures for laboratory systems.
  • Support computer system validation activities for lab instruments.
  • Create and manage validation documents, including protocols and reports.
  • Coordinate on-site repairs and manage vendor relationships.
  • Order and maintain spare parts and inventory levels.
  • Support audits and provide technical expertise to ensure compliance.
