What can I do with a BS in Biology?

A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology opens doors to various career paths in healthcare, research, education, and biotechnology. Graduates can work as lab technicians, research assistants, or in environmental conservation, and may also pursue advanced degrees for careers in medicine, dentistry, or veterinary science. Additionally, some biology graduates find roles in pharmaceutical sales, quality control, or science communication. The degree provides a solid foundation in biological principles, laboratory skills, and scientific thinking, which are valuable in many science-related industries.

What types of entry-level positions are commonly available to candidates with a BS in Biology, and how can I stand out when applying?

With a BS in Biology, candidates often find entry-level roles such as laboratory technician, research assistant, quality control analyst, or environmental technician. To stand out, highlight any hands-on lab experience, internships, or coursework involving data analysis and scientific writing.
