Under the direction of the Programming Supervisor or Programming Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of designing, developing, and supporting both existing systems and new applications. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, designing and developing effective solutions, conducting testing, and providing ongoing support and maintenance. Essential Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, software engineering, or related field; 3 years' experience as a software developer using technologies such as Visual Studio, .Net, C#, JavaScript, or SQL; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties A Senior Application Developer is under the supervision of the Programming Supervisor or Programming Manager and is involved in all aspects designing, developing, and supporting the Nevada Gaming Control Board's existing systems as well as new application development. This includes analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, designing and developing creative solutions, testing, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.
