Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that align enterprise software systems with

organizational strategy, priorities, and business objectives.

  • Lead daily IS operations including system performance, ticket management, prioritization,

escalation, and resolution.

  • Supervise system administrators and support staff, ensuring clear ownership and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for unresolved issues and cross-system challenges.
  • Establish structured support processes, service expectations, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate workflows across systems, departments, and software platforms.
  • Oversee execution of system changes and releases with proper testing and communication.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for support and change management.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor support and escalate risks as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to security, access, and compliance practices.
  • Provide operational reporting and insights to the VP of Information Systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent

experience).

  • 7–10 years of experience in IT operations.
  • 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with enterprise software systems (ERP, CRM, EHR, etc.).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong operational and strategic leadership and team management skills.
  • Technology roadmap development and strategic planning experience.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and drive execution.
  • Knowledge of system support and change management practices.
