Your deep analytics, data science, AI, and machine learning expertise coupled with an original approach to your work, will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We're looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with programming languages, such as SQL, R, or Python, operationalizing models, containerization, data architecture, cloud computing platforms for the Intelligence Community mission.
As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our National Security team, you'll learn and apply innovative AI and machine learning methodologies to make a real-world impact on the Intelligence Community. You'll grow your skills in data science, AI, machine learning operationalization process, and predictive modeling, and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means like patents, peer-reviewed papers, major conference presentations, code submissions.

You Have:
  • 12+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products
  • 5+ years of experience using data science programming languages, such as Python or R
  • Experience with version control tools, including git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
  • Experience leveraging mathematics, statistics, and data mining algorithms to analyze performance, proactively identify quality risks, and drive continuous process improvement
  • Ability to continuously review, evaluate, and update technical documentation to ensure alignment with evolving governance and program standards
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 17+ years of experience with scientific techniques, such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, or Master's degree and 12+ years of experience in one of these fields, or 21+ years of experience in one of these fields in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
