Responsibilities: The Senior Computer Scientist - Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) Oversight & Management utilizes expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and software to create and maintain these systems, develop new technologies and algorithms, and solve complex computing and data system problems. This position will focus on QAF Oversight & Monitoring. Responsibilities are, but are not limited to: Computer Science specific:
* Employ mathematics, statics, information science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, network science, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, data warehousing, data compression, data protection, and/or other scientific techniques. * Correlate complex, technical findings into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products. * Assess trends for existing data to identify and leverage other data sources. * Develop and utilize machine learning and data mining algorithms, including, but not limited to, Multiple Information Model Synthesis Architecture (MIMOSA) prediction algorithms based on open-source capabilities. * Integrate or code algorithms to support Government intelligence search and discovery missions. * Make best practice recommendations on managing data within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints. * Employ data science techniques to support predictive analysis, social media and crowd-source data analytics, wargaming, and strategy development. * Employ exploratory analysis and rapid iteration techniques of large volumes of data. * Prepare products to describe and document findings and activities. QAF Oversight & Monitoring specific:
* Design and execute Testing, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEVV) protocols. * Evaluate the performance, robustness, and fairness of AI systems in all source analysis contexts. * Collaborate with the Statistician/Mathematician to develop and apply statistical models and methods. * Analyze TEVV results and identify areas for improvement. * Develop and implement corrective actions to address TEVV findings. * Ensure AI system performance and robustness. * Develop and implement AI system maintenance schedules. * Ensure continued system performance and robustness. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, with a minimum of 17 years of experience or Master's degree with a minimum of 12 years of work experience. * Experienced in algorithm development, data structures, and software development practices. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions. * Experienced in utilization of the Quality Assurance Framework and standards. * Experienced in advanced analytics, machine learning, and data integration methodologies. * Experienced with intelligence databases, software, and analytical tools. * Ability to work collaboratively with users and stakeholders. * Capacity to adapt to changing situations to prioritize tasks effectively. * Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a relevant field. * Experience working in the customer environment is preferred. Security Clearance: This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required to hold this clearance. Details Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
