Full Time| Monday-Friday 8:0AM-4:30PM| 100% Onsite| This position will require you to be on an On Call.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Technical Support Engineer III (Public Safety) provides advanced technical and operational support for mission-critical public safety technology services. This role serves as the service owner for enterprise surveillance, video management, and physical access control services, with primary responsibility for the health, lifecycle, vendor governance, and continuous improvement of the Genetec Security Center environment and its supporting infrastructure. The position also supports Lighthorse Police, Emergency Services, Dispatch, and other public safety stakeholders, including operational support for Motorola Flex computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and related integrations. The role ensures incidents, service requests, and projects are managed with clear ownership, disciplined communication, and appropriate urgency for 24x7 public safety operations.
Primary Tasks:
  1. Applies company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  2. Follows industry best practices and standard operating procedures to analyze and troubleshoot incidents and service requests.
  3. Creates and follows detailed instructions for defined processes on some work.
  4. Collaborates with cross-functional technical resources to complete project tasks and provide day-to-day support.
  5. Build stable working relationships with internal stakeholders. Leverages influence to advocate for stakeholder needs.
  6. Build, deploy, and maintain applications, patches, security fixes, automation, and support tools to the Choctaw Nation environment.
  7. Create and maintain knowledge base articles to aid in problem resolution and serve as a mentor to other technical support roles.
  8. Provide advanced troubleshooting across stage, test, and production environments.
  9. Provide advanced technical support to internal stakeholders escalating work to internal IT teams when necessary.
  10. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
MINIMUM
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, equivalent education, or relevant certifications.
  • Advanced experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise video surveillance, video management, or physical access control systems; hands-on Genetec Security Center experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting public safety, law enforcement, emergency services, dispatch, critical infrastructure, or another 24x7 mission-critical operating environment.
  • Experience supporting computer-aided dispatch, emergency communications, or related public safety applications; Motorola Flex CAD experience is preferred.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support for priority public safety incidents, planned maintenance, and emergency restoration activities.
  • Four years related work experience.

TARGET
  • Master's degree in computer science, equivalent education, or relevant certifications.
  • Expert-level experience with Genetec Security Center, including archivers, access control hardware, camera infrastructure, and complex integrations.
  • Genetec technical certifications and relevant manufacturer certifications for surveillance, access control, or public safety applications.
  • Advanced experience supporting Motorola Flex CAD or comparable CAD, RMS, mobile, dispatch, emergency communications, or law-enforcement technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, support procedures, knowledge articles, and accurate ticket records.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Six years related work experience
