Position Information

Location: Brush Creek Ranch

Summary:
The Camp Counselor will work under the supervision of the Lead Counselor. This person will help facilitate the weekly arrival and departure of campers, teachers and special guests. Providing a safe and healthy environment for middle school age children.

Responsibilities:
-Help Lead Counselor plan, lead, and implements camp programs for children
-Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being.
-Ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen and camp site.
-Facilitates lesson plans for daily activities.
-Organizes and leads various small and large group activities.
-Knows and understands all emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
-Will help prepare all meals and keep track of dietary restrictions/allergies for all campers.
-Complete any other tasks assigned by Lead Counselor or leadership.
