SUMMARY

Brooklyn Basketball brings the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty together to establish a community-first basketball experience. Our goal is to grow the game for participants of all ages through professionally-led clinics and camps, community-focused events, instructional videos, unique basketball content and much more.  Brooklyn Basketball is seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Operations Coordinator. This role will be supporting Brooklyn Basketball efforts across community activations and Brooklyn Basketball Training Center.

The Brooklyn Basketball Business Operations Coordinator will report to the Director of Business Operations, Brooklyn Basketball, and will play a key role in technology operations, strategic initiatives, and process implementation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide operational assistance for Brooklyn Basketball programming including but not limited to gear preparation for events, registration flows and reporting frameworks.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supply across merchandise and program equipment, including forecasting needs and purchases to ensure timely availability and alignment with program demand.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for core technology platforms, ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, program data, registrations, and customer records.
  • Support data collection and CRM management efforts across Brooklyn Basketball including waivers, database ingestion and CRM organization.
  • Assist with organizing and analyzing program data across platforms to track enrollment trends, conversion rates, attendance, and revenue performance.
  • Help inform structure and design elements of the Brooklyn Basketball website to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
  • Support financial processes and invoice monitoring across Brooklyn Basketball products.
  • Contribute to the development of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders, as needed.
  • Support with research on best practices across professional and youth sports to inform strategy and opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience and proven results within operations, sports programming, event coordination, and/ or project management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, exuding a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and related software.
  • Experience working effectively in a multinational matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of basketball fundamentals.

SALARY RANGE

$66,500 - $72,000 annual salary

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The incumbent will work primarily in an office environment but will be required to travel to various areas within the NYC Metro Area to attend community events, clinics, etc. This role will require commitment to work hours on evenings and weekends.
