Position Summary

Love live sports, cutting-edge broadcast technology, and creating unforgettable fan experiences? San Diego State University Athletics is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to help power the broadcasts behind Aztec Athletics. In this role, you'll help deliver high-quality live productions by supporting the broadcast systems and technology that bring SDSU Athletics to audiences on campus and beyond.

Working closely with Athletics production staff, campus partners, students, and external broadcast teams, you'll support live event productions, maintain broadcast infrastructure, and contribute to the planning and enhancement of broadcast systems. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, innovation, and collaboration while supporting one of the nation's premier collegiate athletics programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of broadcast and audiovisual systems for live athletic events.
  • Coordinate technical production activities, including live broadcasts, remote productions, and videoboard operations.
  • Partner with campus departments, vendors, and broadcast partners to maintain reliable and innovative production systems.
