Local Delivery Driver - Fenton, Michigan
Day Shift position - standard start time 6:00am
Contract Position - Pay Rate: approximately $19.00 per hour
Job Expectations of the Local Delivery Driver:
Our customer is looking for someone to drive an Electric GM Brightdrop vehicle, which is similar to a cargo van. This will be all local deliveries. The chosen candidate for this role MUST possess a Chauffer's License and CDL B License .
Description of the Local Delivery Driver:
  • Must be able to complete a wide variety of delivery/pick-up duties including out-of-office deliveries and errands.
  • Job demands high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be reliable and responsible with limited supervision while on the road.
  • Run errands.
  • Destinations may include automotive plants, airports, post office, and Sam's Club.
  • Check other facility bins upon pickups and deliveries. When required, assist with department projects.
  • Understands how to follow safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns. Adheres to the Quality Systems and participates in continuous improvement.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Education & Experience Requirements of the Local Delivery Driver:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
