Position Title: Teacher I or Teacher II (fully qualified)

Position Type: Full Time (as determined by the needs of the center)

Location: 1080 N. Chestnut Avenue Fresno, CA 93702

Fresno, California Employer/Organization Description: Bright Minds, LLC was established in 2013. We are a year-round Child Care and Learning Center that serves children ages six weeks to twelve years old.

Job Description: The Head Teacher will oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations within their specified program, to include but not limited to, supervision of teachers/aides, maintaining and communicating center policies to staff and parents, effective communication with parents and administration, record keeping, and ensuring classrooms are well maintained, etc.

Requirements/Qualifications: This position requires High School Graduation or GED; completion of a minimum of twelve (12) units or an Associate of Science Degree in Child Development at an accredited or approved college or university; and at least one year of teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program. (A) The degree above shall include courses that cover the general areas of child growth and development, or human growth and development; child, family and community, or child and family; and program/curriculum. (B) CPR / First Aid Certification, fingerprints, physical, up to date immunizations and recent TB screening. (C) Additional training/classes pertaining to the position.
