Bridgeport Fittings, a part of NSI Industries, is a supplier, designer and manufacturer of electrical conduit fittings, connectors and supplies. Bridgeport Fittings has been serving tradesmen with quality components since 1925. Bridgeport Fittings is seeking and experienced Plant Supervisor in Stratford, CT to oversee production processes, ensure smooth operations and monitor work quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position is a 2nd shift position (3:45 pm - 11:45 pm)
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, problem solving abilities and have a keen eye for quality. If you have a passion for production and a detail-oriented mind, this role could be the perfect fit for you. Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver results in safety, quality, production efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Implement and maintain initiatives that ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Lead employees in all departments to achieve production goals.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Develop key manufacturing personnel.
  • Drive culture of continuous improvement.
  • Complete reports and documentation as required.

Requirements:
  • Spanish Bilingual
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing/distribution with 3+ years in supervisory/management roles
  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing workflow
  • Excellent English communication skills, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desirable
  • ADP/Payroll knowledge beneficial
  • Experience with MS Office suite
  • Strong communicator, listener, negotiator and facilitator
