Experienced Bridge Carpenters Needed – Lakeland, FL

Now Hiring Experienced Bridge Carpenters!

We are currently seeking skilled Bridge Carpenters for ongoing heavy civil and bridge construction projects in Lakeland, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable, experienced carpenters looking for steady work.


Job Responsibilities

  • Build, set, and strip concrete forms for bridge and heavy civil construction
  • Construct bridge decks, abutments, piers, retaining walls, and other concrete structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Install wood and metal forms
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
  • Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed
  • Work safely at heights and around heavy equipment
  • Follow all jobsite safety procedures


Requirements

  • Previous bridge carpentry or heavy civil construction experience required
  • Experience with concrete formwork strongly preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings
  • Experience with forming bridge decks, columns, walls, piers, or abutments
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be dependable and able to work as part of a construction crew
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
