Job description

Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. is accepting resumes for Experienced  Bridge Carpenter.  

  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be willing to travel for work.
  • Must maintain reliable attendance.
  • Must meet company safety and performance standards.
  • Ability to adapt to different personalities/self-starter.
  • Must pass a post-hiring heavy demand pre-employment physical/drug test. 
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
  • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
  • Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (Both Lumber and Ironworks) according to measurements.
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

The duties can change daily depending on the project and weather.

Wage: $16.00-$24.00 / hr *DOE*
