Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour


Current Projects:

Home at Maricopa, is a 536 Unit Multi-family community with 6 apartment buildings and a clubhouse on 18.8 acres in the City of Maricopa. The apartment buildings are 4 and 5 story concrete and steel construction buildings.


Job relocation for out of state applicants is available.


Job Summary:

The masonry bricklayer is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of structures made from bricks, blocks, and stones. This includes laying bricks and other materials to build walls, partitions, and other structural elements according to specifications and blueprints.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for accurate bricklaying.
  • Use tools such as levels, plumb bobs, and string lines to ensure precision.
  • Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment, including trowels, chisels, and mixers.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a bricklayer.
  • Proficiency in masonry techniques.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks.
  • Able to stand and walk project site for extended period of times.
  • Regularly talk and/or hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Occasionally required to but not limited to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics and tunnels.
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move at least 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
  • Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
  • Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
  • Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold environments and on concrete floors.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights
  • Willingness to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
  • Ensure the work area is clean and organized to improve efficiency and safety
