Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Mason / Bricklayer to join our team. In this role, you will construct, repair, and maintain structures made from brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials. You will use your craftsmanship to ensure safe, durable, and aesthetically precise work on residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lay brick, block, and stone with accuracy to ensure plumb, level, and properly aligned structures

·         Mix, apply, and finish mortar and grout to required consistency and standards

·         Cut and shape materials using hand tools and masonry saws

·         Perform repairs such as repointing, replacing damaged units, patching mortar joints, and restoring older masonry work

·         Construct and repair walls, foundations, chimneys, walkways, and other structural or decorative elements

·         Set forms, scaffolding, and safety barriers as needed

·         Work collaboratively with foremen, site supervisors, and other trades

·         Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site

·         Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise mason tasks.
  • Two or more years of experience preferred, but candidates with exceptional skills and leadership potential will be considered
  • OSHA 10 Certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus)
