Job description

Responsibilities:

·         Constructing and repairing walls, foundations, chimney, and other brick or stone structures.
·         Mixing mortar and grout according to established formulas.
·         Cutting and shaping stone and bricks to fit specific requirements.
·         Installation of architectural cut stone (granite, marble, limestone, sandstone) & related support steel & anchors.
·         Proficiency in layouts - constructing, CMU/brick/precast materials, restoration- brick replacement/ tuckpointing, etc. 
·         Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
·         Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:
 
  • Commercial construction masonry experience is required.
  • 2 years’ experience as a skilled mason and or/ masonry restoration.
  • Knowledge of various masonry materials, techniques, and applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in application.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Required Certifications:

  • Valid driver's license 
  • OSHA Safety Certification

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

Job Type: Contract, Full-time
