Job description

**NW Industrial Staffing **is currently seeking a **Maintenance Technician **for a local Brewery that has maintained its independence and exceptional quality for two decades.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a new millwrighting or maintenance position to work with a company that values quality products and offers an above-industry-standard benefits package.

What we are seeking:

  • 3+ years of machine maintenance in a production facility, preferably in beverage production.
  • Strong working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems, performing preventative and corrective actions on conveyor systems, fillers, labeling machines, and pumps and compressors.
  • Training the Packaging Operators is a big part of this position: Essential duties and safe operation, as well as daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning & maintenance checks.
  • Assist in assessing the technical skills of each operator & provide input for training records.
  • Basic Electrical Troubleshooting, PLCs a plus.
  • Ability to assist with equipment installation, adjustment and calibration for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with packaging line maintenance is preferred.
  • Previous experience in keeping maintenance logs and communicating issues with the maintenance team and production supervisors, while maintaining compliance with the company maintenance program.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a semi-consistent basis
  • Can bend, stoop, stand, sit, push, pull, and crawl for a 12-hour shift.
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures, especially with LOTO
  • Great work ethic, attendance, and punctuality.
  • Pre-placement background check required

JOB DETAILS:

Location: Eugene, OR

Shift: Thursday-Sunday 6 AM-6:30 PM

Pay Range: $25-$28/h (DOE)
