Role Purpose:
The objective of this role is to provide Sr level automation and controls support to our brewery. The main purpose of this role is to execute projects to improve operations and drive value; however, you will also mentor and develop automation and controls engineers and maintenance technicians and fill in on-shift for the A/C engineers to cover vacation and training as required. This role will be the onsite controls expert in either the process/utilities or packaging/warehouse areas and will be relied upon to improve those areas.
Accountabilities & Impact:
  • Primary automation expert in brewing/utilities or packaging/warehouse areas of the plant
  • Lead continuous improvement automation projects
  • Lead management of change process in all process areas of the plant.
  • Collaborates with operations, engineering, maintenance, and quality to improve safety, quality, and throughput in the plant
  • Provides technical leaderships in all facility automation
  • Automation project budget and schedule adherence

Skills & Experiences Needed to Be Successful:
  • Bachelor's Degree engineering, information science, or industrial automation and controls
  • 8 years of experience in industrial automation of F&B, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical processing
  • Proven technical leadership skills, including mentorship and development of employees
  • Ability to independently lead and execute complex automation projects

  • Ability to lead though influence across the entire business organization
