Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative therapeutic team at Life Bridge Humanistic Psychology Clinic. This full-time remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on clients’ mental health journeys. Our LCSWs play a critical role in delivering high-quality therapy, developing effective treatment plans, and integrating non-traditional healing approaches to foster extraordinary mental health outcomes.

About the Organization

Life Bridge Humanistic Psychology Clinic is a pioneering North American virtual therapy clinic committed to harnessing the power of non-ordinary states of consciousness to enhance mental health. We believe in breaking traditional barriers to mental wellness through innovative therapy practices, including the integration of psychedelics, to support our clients in achieving profound personal transformation. By collaborating with skilled practitioners and leveraging technology, we aim to provide a seamless, effective healing experience.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing our LCSWs the flexibility to work from the comfort of their own homes while still being an integral part of a collaborative team focused on community health. Our digital platform facilitates efficient client interactions and record-keeping, ensuring that therapists can concentrate on delivering transformative therapy rather than administrative tasks. The work environment is designed to promote innovation, dialogue, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy tailored to each client’s specific needs, focusing on mental health improvement and overall well-being.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments through interviews, case histories, and observational techniques to develop individualized treatment and discharge plans.
  • Engage regularly with clients, ensuring timely and thorough documentation within 24 hours of service delivery to maintain compliance and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate client progress and determine necessary adjustments in treatment or referrals to additional specialists when needed.
  • Complete all mandatory training sessions to stay updated on best practices and emerging research in the field of mental health and therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Life Bridge, our client base includes individuals seeking support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and those interested in alternative therapeutic methods involving psychedelics and other non-traditional practices. Our approach emphasizes respect for each client's unique experiences and goals, allowing us to provide personalized care that honors diverse perspectives.

Qualifications
  • A valid LCSW designation or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work is preferred.
  • Ability to be credentialed on insurance panels, thus ensuring accessibility for clients.
  • Maintain current malpractice insurance as part of professional compliance.
  • Willingness and capability to manage a caseload of at least 10 clients per week, providing effective therapy sessions (53 minutes each).
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology to streamline client management.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in mental health counseling methods, clinical principles, and therapeutic methodologies.
  • Familiarity with holistic approaches to mental health, including experience with non-ordinary states of consciousness practices (e.g., meditation, breathwork, etc.).
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical patient rights issues.
  • Prior experience in utilizing digital health platforms for client interaction and documentation.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and skill level. In addition to a generous salary, our benefits package includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan options to support your financial future.
  • Paid time off to ensure work-life balance.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities tailored to your interests and career goals.
