What You'll Do
As a PRN Float Breast Ultrasound Technologist, you'll provide high-quality breast imaging services while supporting multiple outpatient breast imaging locations throughout Northern Virginia.
Perform Breast Ultrasound Imaging
  • Independently perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations
  • Acquire consistently excellent diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
  • Adapt imaging techniques to accommodate patient anatomy and clinical indications
  • Ensure patient comfort throughout each examination
Support Breast Imaging Services
  • Evaluate sonographic anatomy and pathology for diagnostic accuracy
  • Communicate pertinent findings to radiologists
  • Maintain imaging quality standards across multiple locations

What You'll Bring
Required
  • Current RDMS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to travel between Fairfax Radiology Centers locations
Preferred
  • One or more years of breast ultrasound experience
  • RDMS Breast (BR) credential
  • Experience working independently in an outpatient breast imaging environment

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
